Writing has been a passion of mine for quite some time. The ability to bring encouragement through written words feels like a superpower. I hope the words I have to share will bring you enlightenment and will inspire you on your journey of transformation.

Happiness is the beach, a good book, and a journal.

My Background

I have many years of ministry training that began from a young age. In recent years, I spent 2023 & 2024 as the women's ministry leader at my church, as well as assisting in our youth ministry. In 2024, I began training through the Church of God to become an Exhorter.

From 2021-2022 I was a part of the hope*writers community. Not only did I learn a lot, but I also experienced a great deal of growth in my writing. During that time, I started a blog, Heart & Sole Moms, which has since disappeared from the internet.

The Current Project

The launch of the Holly Burnside Writes website is my way of opening a new chapter in my writing life. There are many things I have written that I plan to publish down the road, and I needed an umbrella page for everything to fall under. This is the place where all new things will sprout from. The possibilities are endless.

I am excited to announce that as of May 2025, there is a new project in the works. In August 2025, I will officially be a PUBLISHED AUTHOR! This opportunity appeared with impeccable timing.

Hope*books has welcomed me as a co-author for their next collaborative book, "Built to Endure". This book will be filled with nuggets of wisdom for anyone who is, or aspires to be, a small business owner or entrepreneur. More updates to come.

What the Future Holds

Discipleship is something that has been on my heart for a while. Stay tuned for more updates about upcoming projects geared toward new Christians.

I have a heart for women's ministry. Women, especially busy moms, need a reliable place to find biblical encouragement. This is a great place for me to connect God's word to your heart.

Heart & Sole Moms has been lost but not forgotten. I still have a lot of unpublished work geared toward single mothers, including a book. Anyone who previously subscribed to the email list will be invited to check out Holly Burnside Writes. I hope to hear back from you!
